My Anti-Drug

An Anti-Drug.. Something that places a person in a state of peace. No worries. A state where you can be yourself without the judgement of anyone. In the Metallica Documentary "Some Kind of Monster" The band members have their own "Anti-Drug" The Drummer of Metallica is the collection of paintings while the lead guitarist has surfing. My Anti-Drug will be music. When i have my ear pods on. I block out everyone around me. Im in my own world. I can do things my own pace, my own rhythm, my own way. Every moment of free time I get i will take advantage. My drug. I see a drug as something that may cause harm to me or my mental state. I suppose school will be a drug for me. Lots of work, lots of stress. Every time I get, I will take a dose of music to calm my nerves. I find it funny how music can be seen as my "anti-drug". When it gives me the ability to keep calm and concentrate on certain things.
